Biography

Doctor of Medicine from the University of Valladolid, Master in Research Methodology in Health Sciences from the Autonomous University of Barcelona, ​​Medical Specialist in Psychiatry. Founder and editor of the Psychosocial Rehabilitation magazine between 2004 and 2010. Author of 3 books, 15 book chapters and more than 30 research articles. President of the Organizing Committee of the III Congress and European Regional Meeting of the FEARP. He has presented more than 80 contributions in national and international scientific congresses. Professor in postgraduate courses at various universities and health institutions. Scientific advisor of FEAFES Castilla y León. President of the new Section of Clinical Neuroscience of the Spanish Association of Neuropsychiatry.
He has completed his MIR training at the University Hospital of Valladolid and has worked at the Institut Pere Mata in Reus, the Padre Menni Hospital in Santander and the Zamora Healthcare Complex. He has been the coordinator of the group of experts that developed the Mental Health Plan of Castilla La Mancha 2000-2004. He is currently Head of the Psychiatry Service of the Segovia Welfare Complex.
